- Mukteshwar Dham
Mukteshwar Dham, a Hindu temple located in Mukteshwar town located 49 km away from Nainital, is one of the prominent pilgrimage places. Mukteshwar Dham is a 350-year-old temple enshrining a white marble Shiva Linga, one of the eighteen most important shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is believed to be where Lord Shiva killed a demon and gave him Mukti.
- Bhalu Gaad Waterfall
Bhalu Gaad is derived from Bhalu, meaning Bear, and Gaad meaning Stream. It is a mixture of horseshoe and plunge shaped waterfall with an altitude of 60 ft. To reach Bhalu Gaad waterfall, one must travel through a beautiful walk of around 30-45 minutes through dense forests and mountain streams.
